Rolling Through With an Update
Hello everyone!
I know it has been a bit since the last update but there has not been much to update on. We have been rolling along avoiding most illnesses until last month. We finally got mild versions of Covid. We wouldn’t have really known we even had it if it were not for a test that Chris took toward the end of our illness. We are all feeling good now and continuing on like before.
In other news for us, we are starting the process of getting Chris a new wheelchair. It is one of his least favorite things to do but one that is needed. We know that in the past it has been a long process that could be made even longer due to all the supply chain issues currently happening. We were told that the company we are working with hasn't been experiencing long delays, so we are praying the same holds true for us.
We will be heading to OSU in a little less than a week for Chris’ next injection. He’s looking forward to the boost of energy that comes after each injection. We are just so thankful for this medication and all those that have had a hand in making it possible. That includes all of you who ever donated to MDA or CureSMA, helped us on this journey, and/or prayed over us or either of these organizations. We thank you!
With all that said, we have a couple of asks for you. Please pray for our wheelchair search to go smoothly and Chris to get the best chair for him; our trip to OSU to be successful and without issue; and for all those that are wanting any of the treatments that are now available to get them and be on a journey to better health themselves. Finally, if you see a shamrock, a firefighter with a boot, or someone doing a MDA challenge, help them out with a little bit of money and/or a prayer. The same goes for CureSMA. Every little bit goes a long way. Look here for information about CureSMA and how you can help them. Until next time, we love you and are praying for you all as well!
